We don't have a big neon sign out front, just a small board so people know they’ve reached the right place in Parbatia Tola. Most of the people living around here are neighbors we’ve known for years. It’s the kind of place where you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood throughout the day. We keep things very simple here. There’s no dress code or formal atmosphere. Usually, someone is making tea in the back, and there’s always a bit of clutter on the tables. It feels more like a community hub than a formal foundation office. We like it that way because it makes it easier for people to just walk in and talk to us without feeling intimidated. We are just local people trying to stay busy and help out where we can in our own little corner of Bettiah, without any of that polished corporate nonsense.
