Change Growth Foundation

Change Growth Foundation is located right in Bagaha, over in Bettiah, West Champaran. We’re at House Number 15 on Street Number 2. It’s a regular house in a regular street, which is exactly how we like it. We didn't want a big, intimidating office because we want people to feel comfortable coming to us. The foundation is all about making small, steady changes in our local community. West Champaran has its challenges, but there are also a lot of good people trying to make things better. We see ourselves as part of that effort. Our work varies from day to day. One morning we might be helping someone with a local issue, and the next we’re planning a small community project. It’s very hands-on and practical. We don’t use a lot of corporate talk because that’s not who we are. We’re just local residents who decided to put some structure behind our efforts to help out. We’ve learned a lot since we started, mostly through trial and error. It’s not always perfect, and we make mistakes like anyone else. But we’re honest about what we can do and what we can’t. People in Bagaha know they can just stop by the house if they have a question or an idea. We’re just trying to help the place grow in a way that benefits everyone who lives here. There is always a lot to handle, but being here in Bettiah makes it worthwhile.
