Deepak Industries

Deepak Industries is tucked away at Plot No 168/175 in Phase II. It’s a bit of a double plot, so we have more room than some of the others nearby. We use one side for the main work and the other for keeping all the raw stuff we need. Being in Phase II means we are surrounded by a lot of similar businesses, so it’s never quiet. You can hear the hammering and the grinding from next door all day long. We don't mind it. It’s just the sound of people working. Our building is a plain concrete structure. We don't have any big advertisements or flashy lights. If you are looking for us, you just look for the number painted on the gate. The road outside can be a bit bumpy, especially after the monsoon. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the machines. It’s not glamorous work. My brother and I started here a long time ago. We’ve seen many businesses come and go in this area, but we just keep our heads down and do the job. We have a small staff, mostly guys from the local village. They know their way around the shop floor. We eat lunch together in the small room at the back. It feels like a second home after so many years. We just try to get the orders right and get them out on time. There isn't much more to tell about us.
