Tara Ma Traders

Tara Ma Traders is set up in Chandrakona Town. Our spot is very close to the Chandrakona Bus Stand, so there’s never a quiet moment with the buses pulling in and out all day. You can hear the conductors shouting the destinations from our front door. Being in this part of the district means we are right where the action is. The shop itself is quite simple. We have a few benches for people to sit on if they have to wait, and the walls are mostly lined with whatever we are trading at the time. It’s a bit of a dusty place because of all the movement at the bus stand, but we try to keep it tidy enough. There isn’t a big staff here, just a couple of us handling the customers and the paperwork. We use a lot of handwritten notes because it’s faster than trying to get the old computer to behave. Chandrakona Town is a good place to be, and everyone knows where the bus stand is, so nobody ever gets lost looking for us. We drink a lot of local tea and talk to the drivers who come in for a break. It’s a very grounded kind of life at Tara Ma Traders. We don't have any polished presentations or corporate talk. We just deal with people directly and try to keep things as honest as possible. It’s just how we do things in this part of the district.
