Golap Hardwares

Golap Hardwares is located in Tetultala, right in the Ayodhya Nagar area under the Kotwali police station. It’s a quiet enough spot, though we get a fair amount of people coming through since it’s a central point for the nearby houses. We started this shop because there wasn't a good place nearby to grab basic things like nails, paint, or plumbing supplies. Most of our customers are neighbors or local builders who are working on a project down the street. We keep a lot of stock in a small space, so it can feel a bit crowded when three or four people are inside at once. I try to keep the most common items near the front so nobody has to wait too long. We sell everything from light bulbs to bags of cement, depending on what people are asking for lately. It’s a family-run place, so you’ll usually see me or my brother behind the counter. We don't have a big marketing budget or a social media page. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for whoever needs something that day. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit messy around the entrance, but we just sweep it out and keep going. It’s a steady way to make a living and we like being part of the community here in Ayodhya Nagar. If someone needs advice on a leak or a broken gate, they usually ask us first.
