We started Sharma & Sons quite some time ago right here on Malancha Road. Nimpura is a busy part of Paschim Midnapur and we’ve seen it change a lot over the years. Our shop isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we get the work done every day. My father started things and now we just keep it going as a family. Usually, the morning starts with a lot of noise from the street and the heat gets pretty bad in the summer months. We handle whatever comes through the door. It is mostly local people from around the district who know us by name. Sometimes the tea stall next door is the only reason we take a break. We don't have a big office or fancy chairs, just the desks and the tools we need. Working in Nimpura has its ups and downs with the traffic and the dust, but it is where we belong. We don't spend much time on the computer or making things look perfect for the internet. If you walk down Malancha Road, you’ll see our sign. It is a bit faded now. We just try to be honest with the people who come in and do what we say we will do. That is how we have stayed open all this time. Nothing more to it than that. Just a local family business trying to make a living in Paschim Midnapur.
