Sangam Consultant

Sangam Consultant is based out of Kalaikunda, right near the Post- Kalaikunda Airfield in the Paschim Medinipur district. Living and working so close to the airfield means our days are timed by the sound of planes taking off. It’s a loud place sometimes, but it’s part of the landscape here. The office is a modest building that looks like many others in this part of West Bengal. We have some old filing cabinets that have been through a lot, and the ceiling fan makes a rhythmic clicking noise that we’ve stopped noticing. Out here, things move a bit slower than in the big cities. We handle our consulting work without much fuss. Most people who come to see us are locals from around Paschim Medinipur who know exactly where to find us. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s mostly just word of mouth that keeps us going. The air here is different, a mix of the open fields and the activity from the base. We usually have our lunch together at the big wooden table in the back room. It’s a very practical way of living. If the rain is heavy, the roof leaks a tiny bit near the window, so we just move the papers to the other side. It is a real place with real people who have been around this airfield for years, just doing what needs to be done. We stay busy enough to keep the doors open every day.
