Pawanputra

Sankachua is a quiet place most of the year, but we keep busy enough at Pawanputra. This spot in West Midnapore has been our base for quite a while now. Getting here involves passing the Panchgeria post office, and we are right under the Debra police station’s jurisdiction. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a practical space where we handle our daily work. Sometimes the weather makes the roads a bit tricky, especially during the monsoon months, but that’s just how it is living around here. We started small, just a few of us trying to figure things out, and honestly, we’re still figuring some things out every day. There’s always paperwork to do and people dropping by to ask questions about this or that. You can hear the sounds of the village in the background while we work. It isn’t like those big city companies you see on TV. We know most people by name, and if we don’t, we probably know their cousin or neighbor. The tea stall nearby is where most of our serious meetings actually happen over a hot cup. It’s a simple life, really. We open up early, check the lists, and try to get through the day’s tasks before it gets too dark. Nothing too complicated about how we run things, just honest work in a place we call home.
