Midnapore Medical College & Hospital Midnapore

This is the Midnapore Medical College & Hospital. We are situated in a spot that covers Benepukurpar, Mirjabazar, and Bakulkunja in the Kumorpara area. It’s a mouthful to say the whole address, but most folks just know us as the main hospital in Midnapore. Being near the Kotwali police station in the Paschim Medinipore district makes us a central point for a lot of activity. It’s a big place. There are students running around since it’s a college too. The hallways are usually full of people, and it can get quite loud during the middle of the day. It’s not the kind of hospital where everything is hushed and quiet. There is always a cart being pushed somewhere or someone calling out for a file. We’ve got a lot of history in this building. Some parts are older than others, and you can tell by the way the windows are built. We don't have a marketing team to write nice things about us. We just have a lot of work to do every single day. People come from all over the district, not just the local neighborhood. It can be a bit overwhelming for new staff, but you get used to the pace. Midnapore Medical College & Hospital is a busy, working institution. We’re just here in Kumorpara, trying to keep things moving as best as we can. Every day is different, and we just deal with things as they come.
