Maa Sitala Traders

Out here in Dobisha village, life moves at its own steady pace. We are located in the Dantan area of West Midnapur. It is a very green part of the country with lots of trees and fields all around us. We do trading here under the name Maa Sitala Traders. It is mostly local goods, moving stuff back and forth for the people in the district. The road is okay most of the time but it gets a bit rough after the heavy monsoon rains start. We are near the post office and the police station, so it is a central enough spot for the village. We spend most of our time talking to the drivers and checking the stock in the warehouse. It is a simple way of doing business. We do not have a lot of staff, just a few local men who help with the heavy lifting and loading. The midday sun can get really bright and hot, so we usually take a long break then and start again when it cools down. We have seen the village change a bit over the years, but our little spot stays the same. People come by for what they need and we try to have it ready for them. It is hard work, especially when the humidity is high. We do not use big words or have fancy meetings. We just sit on the porch and figure out the day.
