Ma Sitala Variety Store

Ma Sitala Variety Store is located in Vill- Kushbasan, and we are right near the SBI, which makes it easy for people to find us. Being in the Narayangarh area of West Midnapur means we get a lot of people coming through, especially those heading to the bank. Our store is packed with all sorts of things because that is what a variety store is supposed to be. It can look a bit messy sometimes with items hanging from the ceiling and boxes tucked under the tables, but we know where everything is. The heat in West Midnapur can be tough, so we keep the fans going all day. We start early, around the same time the village wakes up, and we don't usually close until late. People from Kushbasan come in for all kinds of small things they need for their daily lives. We don't have a website or any of those modern things. We just have our shop and our regular customers. Sometimes the kids from the nearby houses come in just to look around, and that’s fine with us. Being near the SBI means there’s always some noise and activity outside, which keeps things interesting. It is a simple business in a busy part of the village. We just try to keep the shelves full and the floor swept as best as we can between customers.
