Loknath Bhandar

Loknath Bhandar is on Balaramdihi Main Road in Jhargram. If you know where the Canara Bank is, we are right near there. We are a general store that’s been serving this part of Paschim Midnapur for a good while. The shop is filled with all kinds of daily necessities. We have rice, pulses, oils, and other stuff people need for their kitchens. It’s a busy place, especially in the mornings when everyone is out doing their shopping. We don't have a lot of space, so things are piled up pretty high on the shelves. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer wants, but we know where everything is. The road outside can be dusty and loud with the traffic in Jhargram. My family helps out in the shop. We take turns sitting at the counter. It’s not a fancy supermarket, just a local bhandar where you can get what you need without much fuss. We try to keep the prices fair because we know our neighbors. Working here means you talk to a lot of different people every day. It’s tiring to be on your feet all day, but it’s good to be busy. We don't have any big advertisements. People come to us because we’ve been here and they trust us to have what they need for their homes.
