Jaysree Departmental Store

Jaysree Departmental Store is right by the Judge Court in West Midnapur, near the Muslim Kuthi. We are a typical local store that stocks a bit of everything you might need for your house. We have shelves full of groceries, snacks, soap, and stationery. Since we are near the court, we get a lot of lawyers and people visiting for legal work stopping in for a quick drink or a pen. The store is usually a bit crowded with bags of rice or boxes of biscuits stacked in the corners. It’s not a supermarket with bright lights and fancy aisles. It’s just a neighborhood shop where we know most of the customers by name. We’ve been running this place for quite some time now. The area around Muslim Kuthi is always interesting and there’s always something happening. We spend our days weighing out items or stocking the shelves when things get low. It’s simple, repetitive work but we like being part of the daily life in Midnapur. We don't use any fancy advertising. We just keep the doors open and make sure we have the basics in stock. Sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when the court is in session and everyone wants something at the same time. But we just handle it as it comes. It’s a friendly place, a bit messy maybe, but it’s got everything you need for the day. That’s just who we are.
