Gouri Traders

Gouri Traders is my small business located in Ward Number 80, over in the Old Patakura area. We’re quite close to Kalibari, which is a landmark most people around here use to find us. I’ve been in this spot for quite some time now, trading different items that the locals need. The shop is filled with all sorts of things, and it can get a bit crowded when a shipment arrives. I don't have a lot of help, so I do most of the heavy lifting and the bookkeeping myself. It’s a lot of responsibility, but I’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it over the years. The neighborhood is old, with narrow streets and lots of neighbors who have known each other forever. I like the feeling of being part of this community. When things get slow, I usually stand by the door and watch the people going toward the temple. It’s not a fancy business with a big sign or anything. Just a local trader’s shop where you can get what you need at a fair price. I try to keep everything organized, though sometimes the piles of stuff get a bit high. It’s just me doing my best to keep the business going and serve the folks in Old Patakura. It’s hard work, but it’s what I know how to do. I don't see myself doing anything else really. It’s just how my life is now.
