Sonu Sewa Sadan Foundation

Out in West Champaran, in a village called Jura, is where Sonu Sewa Sadan Foundation is based. You have to go through Tola-Jura in the Bhairoganj panchayat to find us. It is in the Bagaha block. Suraj Patel is the one who look after things here. This is a very rural part of the country. We are surrounded by fields and small houses. Life here is simple but it can be quite tough when the weather doesn't cooperate. We don't have a big corporate structure. It's just us, the locals. We started this because we saw our neighbors struggling with basic needs. We help out with whatever we can, whether it's food, clothes, or just helping someone fill out a form. Suraj is a local guy, so he knows the struggles of the people in Jura personally. We aren't trying to be famous. We just want to make sure the people in our block have a bit of support. The roads out here aren't the best, especially during the monsoon, but we still manage to get around. We spend a lot of time walking from one house to another. It is slow work, and we don't have any big machines or fancy technology. We just have our hands and a desire to help our own community in Paschim Champaran 845101. It is just real people helping real people in the village.
