W.A.S Buildcon Private Limited is located out in Gopalpur, which is part of the Sagrai post office area in Bardhaman. We have been working in this part of West Bengal for a while now. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but we like the pace here. Our office is just a simple place where we manage our construction projects. Bardhaman is a growing area, so there is always something that needs to be built or fixed. We focus on local housing and small commercial projects. It’s mostly just us and a few regular crews we hire. We don't have a big corporate structure. We just talk to the people in the village and the nearby towns. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or slow deliveries because of the rural roads, but we make it work. It’s not always a perfect process, but we try to be fair and do the job right. My family has been in this area for a long time, so we know most of the people who come to us. We don’t go in for big advertisements or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually enough for us to keep the books full. Sometimes a project takes a bit longer than we thought because of a strike or some heavy rain, but we always tell the owners the truth about what's happening. It’s just the way things are in Gopalpur.
