Our office is located in Adarpara, which is part of Ward No. 11 in Jalpaiguri. It’s a different vibe here compared to the big cities like Kolkata. Things move a bit slower, which we actually like. We are based in West Bengal, specifically in the 735101 area. Tanraj International Exim is basically a small operation where we handle international trade stuff. It might seem surprising to some that a company out here does that, but with the internet and good connections, it works out fine. The office is just a simple room with the basic necessities. We spend a lot of time on the computer and talking to people on the phone. Sometimes we have to travel a bit for work, but mostly we are right here in Adarpara. The people in our neighborhood are friendly and everyone knows each other. It’s a quiet street for the most part. We aren't a big company with hundreds of employees. It’s just a small group of us trying to build something steady and reliable. We handle all the import and export details ourselves from start to finish. During the monsoon, it rains quite a bit here, and the sound on the roof is something you get used to after a while. We just do our work, keep our records straight, and try to stay busy every day. It’s honest work and we enjoy being part of the local community here in Jalpaiguri. It suits us.
