Sajag Micro Sewa Foundation

Sajag Micro Sewa Foundation is based in Aradanga, which is part of Asansol. We work out of Kedar Bhuia’s place. It is a simple setup in a regular neighborhood. We are not some big bank or a giant NGO. We are just local people who know the area and the people living here. Asansol is a busy place, and there are many people who need a little bit of support to get their small businesses or personal lives moving. That is where we try to fit in. We don't have fancy leather chairs or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll likely just find a few of us sitting around a table with some ledgers and a lot of tea. We talk to our neighbors and try to understand their problems. Sometimes the work is slow and the paperwork gets frustrating, but we keep at it. Kedar helps us stay on track. We aren't trying to change the whole world; we just want to help the people in Aradanga. It’s a small operation, and that is how we like it. We know the people we help by name. We don't have a big promotional strategy. People just hear about us through word of mouth. It is just honest, local work. We aren't polished or corporate. We are just Asansol locals trying to do something decent for our community, one day after another. We hope we can keep doing this for a long time.
