Larsen & Toubro

We are out in Vill-Mustafa Chak, in the Burdwan district. To get to us, you have to go through the Sanchra post area. It’s a rural part of West Bengal, surrounded by fields and a lot of greenery. The Larsen & Toubro office here is more of a hub for our local operations. It’s a modest building, nothing like the skyscrapers you see in the pictures. We have a small yard where we keep some equipment and sometimes some materials. Most of the time, the office is a bit messy with boots and tools lying around. We don't worry about it much because we are always busy with the actual work. The people in Mustafa Chak are friendly and we've become part of the scenery over the years. We eat our lunch together under the shade of the trees when it’s too hot inside the building. There are no corporate meetings here, just a quick chat in the morning to decide who is doing what for the shift. We handle the paperwork when we have to, but we’d much rather be outside doing something useful. The pin code is 713401 if you’re sending us anything, though the mail takes its time getting here. We just keep our heads down and work. It's a simple life, and the work gets done right without any extra fluff. We stay until the job is finished and the site is clear.
