Karuas International Foundation

Karuas International Foundation is located at Sri Maha Mangalaniwas in the Ittabhata area. We are right near Gandhi Market, which stays busy from early morning until late at night. Mahendra Karua is the person in charge here. The building isn't fancy, just a solid place where we can get our work done without too much trouble. Being so close to the market means there is always something going on. We see people from all walks of life coming through. We started this foundation because we wanted to give something back to this part of the town. We don't have a lot of rules or a big corporate structure. It is more about looking at a problem and trying to find a way to fix it. Sometimes we help people with food, other times it is about finding work or helping with health issues. We keep our overhead low so we can do more. The walls inside could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but that isn't really a priority right now. We would rather use that money for the people who come to us for help. It is a bit dusty sometimes because of the road, but we don't mind. We are just regular people working out of a regular house, trying to make things a little easier for others.
