Kap Agro India Organic Private Limited

Out here in Durgapur, specifically around the Steelproject area in Galfnagar, things are usually pretty busy. Our place is at 6/11B Amrai, and if you’ve ever been to this part of West Bengal, you know it’s got a mix of industrial vibes and old residential spots. Kap Agro India Organic Private Limited is operated right from this spot. We aren't some big city firm with suits and ties. We’re usually wearing dusty clothes because we spend so much time dealing with actual soil and plants. The office is basically a room with some chairs and a big table where we drink tea and look at maps of the local farms. Durgapur is known for steel, but we’re more interested in what’s growing in the ground. It’s a bit of a challenge sometimes because the weather gets really hot here in the summer. We have a small team, mostly people who live nearby in Amrai or other parts of the steel city. We do a lot of coordination between different growers to get organic products moved around. There’s a lot of paperwork involved, which we aren't always great at keeping tidy, but the actual produce is what we care about. We’ve been at this address for a bit now and the locals know us. It’s a practical setup. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the work we do every day. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes, but we always find a way to get things done.
