Our workshop is over at Plot 81 in Sector 1. It’s a busy place with a lot of noise from the machines running all day long. We started out making small parts and just kept going from there. The floor is usually covered in some dust or metal shavings, but that's just how a factory looks when it's being used. We spend a lot of time checking the dimensions of things we make to ensure they fit like they should. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The heat gets a bit much in the afternoons, so we usually take a break then and sit outside for a few minutes. We’ve got a small crew here, mostly people who have lived in the area for years. We handle different types of manufacturing requests depending on what the customer needs that week. Sometimes it's a big batch of one thing, and other times it's just a few custom pieces that take a lot of patience. We keep the machines oiled and try to make sure nothing breaks down in the middle of a job. It’s steady work. Being in Sector 1 makes it easy for the trucks to come and go with the raw materials. We don't have a big office or anything, just a desk near the front and the tools we use every day. It’s a practical setup that works for us and the people we supply.
