Delight Enagineers

Parwanoo is a steep place to work. Being in Distt. Solan means we deal with the hills every single day. Our workshop is in a spot that is pretty easy to find once you get into the industrial zone. It is not a huge corporation, just Delight Enagineers. We have been at this for some time now. The air is a bit thinner up here, but it is much better than the heat you find down in the plains. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job. We do not have long meetings; we just talk over coffee in the morning and then we start. The floor is usually covered in metal shavings by noon. We sweep up, but it always seems to come back. It is a practical place for practical people. We have some heavy equipment that takes up most of the room in the shop. Sometimes delivery trucks have a hard time with the narrow roads around here, but we manage to get things shipped out eventually. We are not looking to change the world. We just want to make sure the things we build actually stay together. It is a quiet life compared to the big cities. Most of us go home to the local villages around Solan after the shift is finally over. It is just how we live and work in this part of the country. (248 words)
