You can find Bhushan Steel Limited over at 20/11, on Sleeper Road in the Industrial Colony of Bareilly. Being in an industrial area means we are surrounded by other businesses just like ours. There is a lot of noise, dust, and the constant sound of machinery, which is just how it is in this part of Uttar Pradesh. Our building is pretty standard for the area. We have some office space and plenty of room for the materials. We don't spend money on fancy decorations because it doesn't make the steel any better. The people working here are mostly locals who have been in the trade for a long time. We know our way around a warehouse and we know how to handle the heavy stuff. It's practical work. We don't have a mission statement on the wall; we just have a calendar and a list of things that need to be shipped out. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big shipment arrives late in the afternoon. We just roll up our sleeves and get it done. It’s the kind of place where you know everyone’s name and you know which truck driver is going to be grumpy if his tea isn't ready. We just keep things moving and try to stay out of trouble. It's a solid, honest way to spend the day without making a big fuss about it.
