Karan Transport

Being in Parrys means things are always moving. We are located at 11/6 Krishnan Koil Street. It is a narrow place. You can hear the sounds of the street all day long. Karan Transport has been operating out of this spot, and it gets quite dusty sometimes. We have our records and the phone is usually ringing. People walk by the door constantly because this part of town is so crowded. There is a specific smell to the air here, a mix of old buildings and the stuff people are hauling. We keep the keys on a rack and the ledgers are usually open on the main table. It is not a fancy setup. The chairs have been here a long time. We know the neighbors around Krishnan Koil Street pretty well by now. Sometimes we have to move things around just to make space to walk. It is a practical kind of life. We deal with the schedules and the drivers coming in and out to check their routes. Parrys is a tough place to park, so we are used to the chaos. The tea stall nearby is where we usually go when we need a break from the paperwork. It is just a regular transport office doing the daily rounds. Nothing stays still for very long in this neighborhood, and we are right in the middle of it all, just trying to keep up.
