You can find us at 719/B on Purbachal Road, down in the South Parganas area of Kolkata. We’ve been operating out of this space for a bit now, focusing on getting food out to people who need it for their events or daily meals. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, which helps when we’re trying to focus on prep work in the mornings. We aren't a massive operation with hundreds of employees. It's a small crew of us who handle everything from the grocery shopping to the final cooking. Some days we’re out the door before the sun is up to get things ready. Catering is a lot of logistics, really. You have to make sure you have enough of everything and that the transport doesn't run late. We spend a lot of time in the kitchen over the stoves. It's not always easy, and sometimes things get a bit chaotic when three orders come in at once. We don't really have time for fancy decorations or a polished office. Most of our budget goes into the ingredients and keeping the kitchen equipment running. We just want to make sure the food we send out is decent and fills people up. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we’re happy to be doing it here. We don't take on more than we can handle, just staying small and focused on what we can do well.
