Empowerus Llp is located in Salt Lake City, Sector 1, which is one of the older and more established parts of the area. We are over at AC 168, a property that is well-known locally as being associated with A K Chatterjee. The Phari Bus Stop is the main landmark nearby, so if you can find that, you are basically at our doorstep. Salt Lake has a lot of greenery and wide streets compared to the rest of Kolkata, which makes the walk from the bus stop quite pleasant most days. The office itself is in a residential building, so it feels very grounded and unpretentious. We don't have any glass partitions or fancy coffee machines. Usually, someone just goes out to the local stall to get some chai for everyone. We have our desks set up in a way that makes it easy to talk to each other while we work. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because things stay simple. There is a lot of paperwork and digital work that goes on inside AC 168, and we just focus on getting through the list every day. It’s the kind of place where the doorbell rings and it’s just the mailman or a neighbor, and we just keep on with what we are doing. We’ve been part of this Sector 1 community for a while now and it suits us just fine.
