Big Plastics

Our place is called Big Plastics and we are at Plot No. 336/A in the G.I.D.C Estate. This is in Killa Pardi, which is in the Valsad district. We are really close to National Highway 8, which is great because the big trucks can pull in and out easily. Since we are in an industrial estate, it’s not really a place for casual shoppers or families. Most of our work is with other businesses or people looking for larger quantities of plastic goods for industrial use. The shed is quite big, but it always seems to be full of pallets and rolls of material waiting to go out. It gets really loud during the day with all the machinery and trucks moving nearby. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. It’s a hot and sweaty job sometimes, especially in the afternoons when the sun hits the metal roof. We don't have a fancy showroom or even a proper lobby. It's just a workspace with a small corner for the desk and the phone. We don't really do any marketing or advertising. Our reputation in Killa Pardi is mostly just from being here for so long and doing the work every day. We handle the orders as they come in and try to stay on top of the production schedule. It’s a lot of logistics and making sure the loaders know what they are doing. It's hard work but it's okay.
