Tata Steel

Up here at H.No.1/7/914 in Peer Nagar, we've got our little setup for Tata Steel. Being in Nanded means things are a bit different than the big industrial hubs, but we still keep busy. It's a residential-feeling area, so we try not to make too much noise early in the morning. We have our files, our phones, and a lot of steel to keep track of. The Maharashtra heat can be tough in the summer months. We drink a lot of water and keep the windows open for a breeze. People from the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to chat or ask about the work. We aren't a big corporate office with glass walls. It's just a regular house turned into a workspace. We've got some old chairs and a computer that takes a minute to start up. Every day is about the same, checking what needs to go where and making sure the numbers match up. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar with some dates circled. It’s a practical way to live. We’ve been in Nanded for a while now and feel like part of the furniture. We just do the work that's given to us and try to do it right. It’s just us here in Peer Nagar, doing what we know. There is no need for anything fancy when you are just trying to do an honest job.
