Our shop is number 1500, located right in Palam in the Parbhani district. It’s a local operation, and most of us have been around this area our entire lives. We do construction work, mostly small to medium stuff that people around here need. It’s not like the big city projects. We know our neighbors and the people we build for. Sometimes we're working on a small wall, other times it’s a whole house or a shed. It depends on the season and what folks need. We don't have a big corporate office or a marketing team. It’s just us and our tools. Sometimes the weather in Parbhani gets really hot, and we have to start work very early to get anything done. There are days when the supplies don't arrive on time from the bigger towns, so we have to wait around. It’s a bit frustrating but that’s how it is in a smaller place. We just try to do a decent job so people don't have complaints. We aren't looking to become a giant company; we’re happy just staying busy here in Palam. If you walk by shop 1500, you’ll probably see one of us cleaning up or looking at a ledger. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We do what we can with what we have. People know where to find us if they need something fixed or built. We just keep things moving along.
