Shri Gajanan Seva Foundation

We are over in Sailu, in the Parbhani district. Our office is House Number 125 in Vidya Nagar, which is quite close to the Tehsil office. It’s a convenient spot because we’re right near the center of things. Shri Gajanan Seva Foundation isn’t something we started to get famous or anything. We just noticed that there were gaps in what was being done locally and decided to step in. The building is an old one, but it stays cool enough in the summer. We spend a lot of our time dealing with local issues and helping folks navigate things. It’s not always easy, and sometimes the red tape gets frustrating, but we stick with it. We have a small team, mostly just people from the neighborhood who care about Sailu. We don't use big words or have complicated plans. We just see a problem and try to find a way to fix it with what we have. Sometimes that means a lot of phone calls, and other times it means going out and physically doing the work ourselves. We keep the doors open for anyone who needs to chat. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with tea cups on the table and papers everywhere, but that’s just how we work. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to be here for our town. Every day brings something different, and we just handle it as best as we can with the tools we've got. It’s a simple way of living and working, but it suits us just fine.
