SAI Rugnavahika

SAI Rugnavahika is located right on Civil Hospital Road in Parbhani. If you know where the Civil Hospital is, you basically know where we are. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a while, and it’s a very busy part of the city. Being on this road means we see a lot of traffic and a lot of people moving back and forth all day long. Our main job is patient transport, which isn't always easy. We spend most of our time in the vehicles or waiting for the next call to come in. Parbhani is a place where everyone seems to know everyone else, so we often bump into people we recognize while we’re out on the road. The work can be tiring, and the hours are often long and unpredictable. We don’t have a big corporate office with fancy furniture. It’s mostly just us, our phones, and the ambulances. We try to keep the vehicles in good shape because they take a lot of wear and tear on these roads. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, but we just clean it up and keep going. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. We’re just a local service that helps people get where they need to go when they aren't feeling well. It’s practical, straightforward work that keeps us busy from morning until night. Sometimes we just sit on the plastic chairs outside the office during a break and watch the world go by on Civil Hospital Road.
