We are based out in Karhetakli, which is a part of Shevgaon. It’s a rural area, so things move a bit slower here compared to the big cities. Most of our work at Rudraraj Multi Purpose involves helping farmers and small families manage their savings. We know almost everyone who walks through the door. It’s not just about money; it’s about knowing who is getting married or whose son is going off to college. Our office is a simple room with the basic things we need—a computer, some files, and a few chairs for visitors. We don't have air conditioning, so we use a big ceiling fan that rattles a little bit. It gets the job done. We handle deposits and small loans according to the Nidhi rules. We try to be fair and listen when someone is having a hard month. You have to be flexible when you live in a village. The rain dictates a lot of how business goes around here. If the harvest is good, people save more. If not, things are tighter. We just stay open and do our part. Sometimes we have to explain the same thing three times, but that's okay. We have the time. We aren't looking to grow into some massive firm. We just want to keep things running smoothly right here in Karhetakli for the people we see every day at the market.
