Our shop is over in the Old Mondha area, right in the Modi Complex near the tower. Most people around here know the spot because it’s been a landmark for a long time. It’s a busy part of town, always full of people moving goods and getting things done. We’ve stayed in this location because it’s where everything happens. The building itself is older, but it has a lot of character and history. We deal with various things here, mostly stuff people need for their daily business or homes. It gets a bit crowded inside sometimes with all the stock we have piled up, but we know where everything is. We don’t go in for big advertisements or flashy signs. Most of our customers are people who have been coming to us for years, or their kids who are grown up now. We sit on our stools, drink some chai, and handle whatever comes through the door. The area can be quite dusty with all the transport going on, but that’s just life in the market. We open up early and stay until the work is finished. It’s a simple way to run a business, but it works for us. We like the rhythm of Old Mondha and the way everyone knows everyone else. It’s a bit loud, a bit messy, but it’s our home and we wouldn't want to be anywhere else. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by.
