Our office for Lic Of India is on Station Road in Parbhani. It is the main LIC building, so it is quite a central spot in town. The building itself has been here for a long time. Inside, you will see a lot of wooden desks and stacks of files. It is a busy environment with people coming in to check on their policies or pay their monthly amounts. The ceiling fans are old and they creak a bit when it gets hot in the summer, which happens quite often in Parbhani. We spend most of our time filling out forms and talking to people about their families. It is a traditional kind of office where everyone knows the routine. Station Road is always full of life because the railway station is so close. You can hear the trains throughout the day. We have been working here for years and have seen many people grow older and bring their own children to the office. We don't have any flashy marketing or modern decor. It is just a place where serious work gets done. Sometimes the lines get a bit long, but people are generally patient. We just sit at our desks, do the data entry, and try to make sure the records are correct. It is a steady job and we are just a small part of the big system here in the city.
