Jeewansathi Rugnawahika (Ambulance)

Jeewansathi Rugnawahika is our ambulance service based in Gangakhed. We are located right on Doctor’s Line, across from the old Kamal Talkies. Most people in Parbhani know the spot because of the theater. Running an ambulance service means we are always on call. The phone rings at odd hours, and someone has to be ready to go. The roads around Gangakhed can be rough, so we have to keep the vehicles in good shape. It’s not an easy job. We spend a lot of time waiting for calls and then rushing out. Sometimes we are taking someone to a bigger hospital in Parbhani or just moving a patient home. The area around Kamal Talkies is usually crowded, which makes getting out of the driveway a bit tricky sometimes. We’ve been doing this for a while now. The drivers know every shortcut in the area. It is a small team, and we all know each other well. There is no fancy office here, just the place where the ambulances park and a small room for the staff. We don't do much marketing or anything like that. People just have our number saved for when things go wrong. It’s just a local service that helps out the community when there’s an emergency. It is tough work but someone has to do it. We stay busy through the nights and days alike.
