You can find JAI Narsingh Ambulance Services right by Bhalerao Hospital on Vasmat Road. We’ve been operating out of this Shivaji Nagar area in Parbhani for some time. The ambulances stay parked out front, and there’s always someone sitting nearby keeping an eye on the phones. Parbhani can get really hot, so we spend a lot of time in the shade of the hospital building waiting for the next call to come in. The vans are kept clean inside, though the outside gets a bit of road dirt from driving around Vasmat Road all day. We check the stretchers and the oxygen bottles every morning before the sun gets too high. It’s not a fancy office or anything, just a desk and a few chairs for the drivers to rest. When the phone rings, someone grabs the keys and heads out immediately. The traffic in Shivaji Nagar can be a bit of a mess during the market hours, but the drivers know all the back ways to get through. It’s a busy life, mostly just driving and helping people get to where they need to go. We don't really have a big sign, just the name on the side of the vehicles. Most of the local people know we are here because they see the vans every day. It is just basic work, but it keeps us moving around the city constantly.
