We do construction work for the local community. It is mostly straightforward building stuff. We don't have a big office building; it’s more of a practical space where we store our tools and talk about the next day's work. Life in a rural area means you know everyone you're working for. You can't afford to do a bad job because you'll see those people at the market the next day. We deal with the sun and the dust every day. Sometimes the supply chain is slow getting things out to Halli, so we have to plan ahead. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We're just a group of people who know how to mix concrete and lay bricks properly. Every project has its own set of problems, like water issues or hard ground, but we just figure it out as we go. It’s hard work, but there is a lot of pride in finishing a project and seeing a family move in or a business start up in a space you built. We just keep it simple and keep working. Sometimes the days are long, but seeing the finished building makes it worth the effort in the end.
