Devkrushna Rugnavahika (Ambulance)

Devkrushna Rugnavahika is our ambulance service located over on Civil Hospital Road. We are right by the HO Civil Hospital in Parbhani. This kind of work is pretty much what you would expect. We spend a lot of time waiting for calls and then driving people to the hospital when they are in a bad way. The road near Civil Hospital is always busy with people coming and going, so we are right in the middle of it. It’s not a desk job. We are either in the vehicle or checking the equipment to make sure everything is ready for the next trip. Parbhani is a place where people really rely on local services like ours. We don't have a big office with carpets or anything, just a spot to keep the ambulance and wait for the phone to ring. The work can be a bit tiring because you never know when someone will need help, but it is what we do. We’ve been operating from this Civil Hospital Road location for a while. It’s a practical spot because we are so close to the main hospital anyway. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard, but we know the shortcuts around town. It is just us and the ambulance, trying to get people where they need to go without making a big fuss about it. We just do our shifts and stay ready.
