Build Art Associates

Our office is on the first floor of the Mohite Complex, which is on Basmat Road here in Basmat Nagar. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy with people moving around all day. At Build Art Associates, we spend most of our time looking at drawings and talking about construction sites. It is usually quite a mess on our desks with papers and pens scattered everywhere. We started this because we liked seeing things get built properly. Most days involve someone going out to a site to check on how the walls are going up or if the materials arrived on time. We use the old stairs to get up to the office, and the fan usually makes a bit of noise while we work. It’s a simple setup with a couple of chairs for people to sit and talk about their house plans. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to read blueprints and figure out measurements. Sometimes the phone rings too much, and other times it is very quiet. We just try to get the drawings right so the builders don’t have a hard time later on. It’s practical work, really. People come in with an idea of what they want, and we try to put it on paper for them. We have been in this complex for a bit now and the neighbors are all friendly and helpful.
