Satyam Auto Parts

Satyam Auto Parts is located at No. 39 on Jamai Road in Parasia. We are quite close to the WCL GM Office, so that’s a good reference point for the locals. This area is mostly about the mines and all the heavy transport that goes along with that industry. We handle parts for all kinds of vehicles that deal with these rough, unpaved roads. The shop stays dusty no matter how much we sweep the floor. It’s just the nature of living in this town. We’ve got shelves full of filters and belts and gaskets. It takes a certain kind of person to like this kind of work every day. It’s quiet in the early mornings before the big trucks start moving. Then it gets loud and busy very fast. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers who are just passing through. They always have plenty of stories about the roads and the weather. We just listen and find them the parts they need to get moving again. There is a small wooden bench out front where we sit sometimes when there are no customers. It’s a bit rickety but it works. We don’t have any fancy displays or bright neon lights. Just a couple of fluorescent tubes that flicker occasionally. We do our own bookkeeping on paper. It keeps things simple and we don't have to worry about computers crashing. We know our inventory and our neighbors. That is enough for us.
