Indhu Ma Exports

We run Indhu Ma Exports from our place at 3/842 on Palpannai Street in Bharathi Nagar. It is located in the East Paramakudi area, which is a quiet enough spot most days of the week. We deal with sending things out, so there are always boxes and packing materials lying around the floor. It is not a retail shop where people come to browse; it is more of a workspace for packing and sorting. We spend a lot of time checking labels and making sure things are packed securely so they don't break during travel. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside even with the windows open. We have a small team of three people who handle everything from the sorting to the heavy lifting into the trucks. It’s a practical business, nothing fancy about it at all. Sometimes the courier trucks have trouble finding our street because it’s a bit narrow, so we often have to go out and wave them down. We started this because we saw a need for it in Paramakudi. We don't have a big fancy office, just a wooden desk with a computer and a lot of shelving against the walls. It is a bit messy at times with all the tape and cardboard scraps, but that is just part of the job. We just keep our heads down and try to get the boxes out on time every day. It’s steady work for us.
