Being at Five Corner means there is always something going on outside our door. The Ramanathapuram District heat can be pretty intense, so we usually keep the shop door halfway closed to keep the cool air in. Inside, it’s a bit of a squeeze. We have shelves full of components and gadgets. It’s the kind of shop where you might have to move a box of cables to find a place to sit. We don’t have fancy displays or sales people following you around. Usually, it’s just one of us behind the counter. People stop in while they are out doing their other shopping nearby. We talk about the weather or the local news while we look for whatever part they need. It’s a very local vibe. We’ve been here a while, and we know most of the faces that walk through the door.
