Golden Anchor

Golden Anchor is located over by Badapadia, near the Badacidi Pulia. It is an interesting spot because you can see the bridge from our entrance. The area around the pulia is always moving, with bikes and trucks passing by at all hours. We have a modest setup here. It is not a place with shiny floors or expensive furniture. We have what we need to get the job done. Most days, we arrive early to open things up and get the air moving. It can get a bit stuffy otherwise. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day. It is not always easy, but we manage. Sometimes things break or do not go as planned, and we just have to figure it out on the fly. We are not some big international chain. We are just Golden Anchor, a local business that is part of the community here. A lot of our regular customers have been coming to us for years. They know us by name, and we know them too. It is nice to have that kind of connection with the people around us. We do not use a lot of fancy technology. We mostly rely on old-fashioned hard work and keeping our word. When the sun goes down, we lock up and head home like everyone else. It is a quiet life, but it is ours. We have been here a long time and hope to stay.
