Basudev Shipping Corporation is located right in Room No.7 of the Jubulee Market Complex. If you know the Paradip main road, you know how busy it gets around the bus stand area. That’s exactly where we are. It’s a noisy spot with buses coming and going all day long, but it makes it easy for people to find us. We’ve been operating out of this small office for some time now. Inside, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and stacks of documents related to the shipping work we handle. The market complex is an old building, but it has a lot of life to it. We spend our days coordinating things, talking on the phone, and making sure the cargo details are correct. Shipping is a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing, so our schedule is never really the same two days in a row. Sometimes the power goes out in the market, and we just sit outside for a bit until it comes back. It’s a very local way of doing business. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It’s just us in Room 7, trying to keep up with the demands of the port and the road. Usually, we're wrapping things up by evening when the market starts getting even more crowded with shoppers. It’s a practical place for a practical job, and we like being right in the middle of the action near the bus stand.
