Paradip Port Trust, (Temporary Basis)

This is the temporary setup for the Paradip Port Trust work, over at Qr-No-Jc 102 in Madhuban. Being in Jagatsinghpur, you’re always close to the water and the big shipping lanes. Since this is a temporary basis thing, we don’t have anything fancy set up. It’s just a functional space where we handle the immediate needs of the port trust tasks. The quarters are basic, but they serve the purpose. We get a lot of people coming in and out because the port is always active. It’s a bit chaotic at times, with papers flying everywhere and phones ringing. We just try to keep things organized as best as we can. The weather in this part of Orissa is usually hot and sticky, so the fans are always going. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know the ropes. We handle the paperwork and the logistics that come with the port territory. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find polished floors or leather chairs. It’s a working office for working people. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or the port traffic. Every day brings a different set of challenges, but we just take them one by one. It’s about getting the job done while we are here. Madhuban is a quiet enough spot until the port shifts change.
