Over in Ranchi, Lea Associates South Asia Pvt Ltd is located in the Maa Sarda Apartment, specifically 4 A. We are in Sukla Colony, which is in the Hinoo area. It’s a residential block, so it feels quite lived-in. You often see the neighbors drying clothes or kids playing in the hallways of the apartment building. Our unit is just a standard flat that we use as our office space. Rana Raj Kumar is the name associated with this particular spot. The rooms are a bit small, so we have to be careful about how much stuff we pile up on the desks. Ranchi has its own pace, a bit slower than the big metros, which we don't mind at all. We have a balcony where we can step out for a minute to get some fresh air, though the view is just other buildings and the colony road. The floor is tiled and easy to clean, which is good because it gets quite muddy during the rainy season here in Jharkhand. We don’t have a big receptionist or a lobby, just a doorbell and a small sign on the door. It’s a humble setup but it serves us well for the work we have to do. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background while we type away. It’s just our little corner of Ranchi where we get things done.
