Suchana Mahila Dal Shg

Suchana Mahila Dal Shg is based in Ananta Biswas Para village. This is down in the South district. We are a group of women from the village who wanted to do something together. We do not have a big corporate background. We just know our village and the people in it. We meet up in Ananta Biswas Para to work on our projects. It is usually pretty informal. We sit down, talk about what needs to be done, and then we just do it. It is not always easy because we have our houses and families to look after too. But we make time for the group. We do not use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just neighbors. Some of us have known each other since we were kids. The work we do is just regular stuff that helps us earn a little and keep the community going. We do not have a big sign or a fancy office. Most people just know where to find us. In the South district, things can be slow sometimes, but we keep ourselves occupied. Suchana Mahila Dal Shg is a way for us to have a voice and work on things that matter to us here. We are not looking for fame, just a way to keep things moving forward in our own small way. It is just a simple group of women doing what we can with what we have got. We try to help out when we can and keep the group together for the future.
