Ramakrishna Mission Hospital

Ramakrishna Mission Hospital is located at P.O R.K Mission. It’s a very quiet and spiritual place compared to the usual hospitals you see in the middle of a city. The atmosphere here is different because of the mission. We don't have much noise, just the sound of birds and the occasional bell ringing nearby. The staff here lives a simple life and that reflects in how we handle the hospital. Everything is kept very clean and orderly, but without any of that expensive hospital decor. We use basic wooden furniture and the wards are open to let the air circulate naturally. People come from quite far away to see us because of the reputation of the R.K Mission. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. The work just speaks for itself I suppose. Most of the people working here are doing it because they want to help, not just for a paycheck. It’s a humble place. We have a small garden in the middle where patients can sit when they are feeling a bit better. The days start very early here with prayers and then we get to work with the patients. It’s a steady pace, never too rushed but we never stop either. It’s just a peaceful way to run a hospital and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We keep our records in big ledgers that are stacked neatly in the office.
