Kidzee

We are situated in Sector H, right on the Main Road in Itanagar. Being a preschool, things are usually loud and a bit chaotic, but in a good way. The rooms are filled with toys, charts, and small chairs for the little ones who come in every day. We’ve been operating here for a bit, helping parents in the area who need a place for their toddlers while they go to work. It’s not a huge facility, but we’ve made the most of the space we have on the Main Road. The morning drop-off is always a bit of a rush with cars and scooters stopping by. Our staff mostly consists of local women who enjoy working with children. We spend the hours doing basic activities, singing songs, and teaching the kids their letters and numbers. It’s simple stuff. The walls are covered in drawings that the kids made themselves. It gets a bit messy sometimes with the paint and the clay, but we clean it up by the end of the day. Itanagar has its own pace, and we try to stick to that. We don't put on airs or use big words to describe what we do. It’s just a place for children to spend their morning safely. If you’re walking down Sector H, you can usually hear the singing or the kids playing from the street during the morning hours.
